Tuxedo Shoes, What to Wear
tuxedosonline.com explains what shoes to wear with your tuxedo, patten leather and what it means.
I’d like to take a moment to talk about the tuxedo shoes and what you should wear with a tuxedo. Normally the tuxedo shoe you should wear is patent leather. Patent leather is a very shiny type of leather shoe. It can be in a jazz oxford cut(pointed tip) or any other cut that you would like. We have many different shoes online; In fact, now we have leopard skin and varying types of shiny other types of shoes there. I’d like to talk about the word “patent leather”. Patent leather has come to mean plastic in recent years because of the tuxedo rental industry. Mostly, patent leather is rented with a tuxedo. In tuxedo rentals, they need to have durable and inexpensive shoes, therefore patent leather has always been not real leather, but it doesn’t necessarily need to be. There is patent leather that is real leather, that has the patented shine on top. The majority of patent leather that you find out there is man made, and they are incredibly comfortable for a man made shoe. They also come in different cuts, like I said before; a square tone patent leather shoe(patent leather shoe with a squared tip), and also a black and white patent leather shoe for a more jazzy type of look(patent leather shoe with white in the middle and black on the sides). I’d also like to talk about tuxedo socks. Tuxedo socks have traditionally been sheer socks. You can wear regular black socks with it, but we do sell sheer tuxedo socks online, and they’re relatively inexpensive if you want to buy them. Both in calf-high and regular height socks.
